


To assist residents with the recovery process after Super Typhoon Sinlaku, the CNMI Joint Information Center has released a series of frequently asked questions regarding the S.T.R.O.N.G. (Sustainment of Temporary Resilience & Operational Needs on Ground) program.
The community is encouraged to review the information below regarding eligibility, the application process, and program benefits to determine if your household qualifies for this temporary housing assistance.
Program Overview:
✅ Objective: Provide emergency tent housing to residents whose homes were rendered uninhabitable due to storm damage.
🖋️ Application: Interested applicants must visit the Saipan or Tinian Mayor’s Office to submit an application and a Right of Entry (ROE) form.
🤝 Coordination: Tent setup is facilitated by the CNMI Individual Assistance Program, CNMI Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services, the U.S. Department of War, and the U.S. Forest Service.
