Post Typhoon Sinlaku Recovery: April 25, 2026
Official Update from the Commonwealth Office of Transit Authority, Office of the Governor & Lt. Governor:
COTA remains activated to support the CNMI Homeland Security and Emergency Management Operations Center for shelter transportation and other transportation needs during recovery. COTA has transported over 289 shelterees, first responders, and individuals with medical needs.
CURRENT OPERATIONS:
Call-A-Ride Rota (CARR) is fully operational.
Call-A-Ride Saipan (CARS) is only operating for essential trips (hemodialysis, prescription refills, clinic visits, and scheduled appointments).
TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED:
Call-A-Ride Tinian (CART) is temporarily suspended. Services will resume on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
Fixed Route Blue Line 1B is suspended until roads become safe and accessible. Our team is working to clean up the nearby debris for each bus stop.
